Use a Latest Posts or Query Loop block under the hero, then choose a layout where the featured image is on the left and text on the right.wordpress+1

1. Insert the posts list under the hero

1. Edit the Articles page.
2. Place your cursor below the hero section.
3. Click + and add either:
   • Latest Posts block (simpler), or
   • Query Loop block (more flexible).wordpress+1

2. Configure image + excerpt layout

For Latest Posts:

• In the block settings (right sidebar), turn on:
  • Display featured image
  • Post content → Excerpt and set a word limit (e.g., 25–40).[wordpress]​
• Under Layout/Design, choose the style where the image sits to the left of the title/excerpt (often called “List” with thumbnail).webprosmeetup+1

For Query Loop (if you picked that):

• When you insert it, choose a preset like “Featured image beside title and excerpt” from the patterns.wordpress+1
• Inside the Query Loop’s Post Template, you should see blocks like:
  • Columns → Featured Image + Post Title + Post Excerpt.[pootlepress]​
• You can adjust column widths so the image stays small and text area wider.

Once that block is in place, every new post with a featured image will automatically show as “small image left, excerpt right” under your hero.
